Một món ăn không chỉ đẹp mắt mà còn vô cùng hấp dẫn với vị thanh ngọt của bí đao hòa quyện cùng vị bùi bùi của thịt. Nếu bạn đã ngán những món qua dầu mỡ, bí đao cuộn thịt sẽ là lựa chọn lý tưởng, nhất là trong những ngày hè.
Bí đao rửa sạch, gọt vỏ. Dùng dao sắc và mỏng cắt những dải bí dài như hình bên. Miếng bí dài tầm 10cm là đủ cuốn. Sau đó, ngâm vào nước pha 1/2 muỗng canh muối một lúc cho mềm.
Thịt heo nạc băm nhỏ. Tôm rửa sạch, bóc vỏ, băm nhỏ. Hành tím bóc vỏ, băm nhuyễn. Trộn tất cả với nhau, nêm tiêu, nước mắm, bột ngọt.
Trải miếng bí đao lên thớt, lấy một chút hỗn hợp nhân, đặt vào giữa và cuộn lại.
Dùng tăm ghim lại để cố định cuộn bí. Nấu sôi nước. Cho 1/2 muỗng canh muối còn lại vào nước sôi.
Khi nước sôi, để lửa lớn và gắp các cuộn bí đao cho vào. Chú ý không luộc cuộn bí quá lâu, bí sẽ không giữ được màu xanh. Chần qua hành để buộc vào cuộn bí. Cuộn bí luộc xong, gỡ bỏ tăm, cột lại bằng cọng hành lá đã chần.
